A few things people often want to know before getting in touch.
Is Baasplus a bank or an EMI?
No. Baasplus is software — the platform a banking product runs on. Regulated banking and payment services are provided by the licensed banking-as-a-service providers or e-money institutions integrated with the platform. If you do not have a licensed partner yet, we can discuss the options during the call.
What do we need before we can launch a product on Baasplus?
Commercially: a brand and a licensing route (your own authorisation or a licensed BaaS/EMI partner). Technically: very little — the apps, the back office and the integrations are the platform’s job. The launch path is configuration, brand assets and partner onboarding, not a software build.
How white-label is it really?
Fully. Customers see your name, your colors, your app store listings, your email domain and your legal entities. Different brands already run in production on the same platform with different identities, languages, feature sets and suppliers.
Can Baasplus integrate with our existing suppliers?
The platform ships with drivers for the categories a banking product needs — account and card rails, identity verification, payments, messaging and more. If your supplier is not covered, adding a driver is standard, scoped work rather than a research project.
Who builds and operates the platform?
HKMSP — a Hong Kong software house with two decades of IT, cloud and cybersecurity background. The same team that designs and builds Baasplus also operates it in production, so you are never handed software without the people who run it.
How soon will you respond?
We aim to reply within one to two business days. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9AM to 7PM Hong Kong time, so a message sent over the weekend is typically answered early the following week.
